Heyo, everyone. Apologies for the lack of content the last month! The reality is the last half year didn\u2019t really go as planned. I won\u2019t bother with the recap, but now we\u2019re here! And I\u2019m fairly certain I\u2019m ready to kick things off again.<\/p>\n
A lot has gotten backed up, so I wanted to just kind of go over what my immediate, short term and long term plans are. Obviously things change, as they always do. But hopefully this will serve as a good outline of what is to be done.<\/p>\n
Aside from the 3 categories themselves, these aren\u2019t in any particular order. So don\u2019t read too much into positioning on the lists.<\/p>\n
Patreon<\/strong><\/p>\n Removing the $10 Patreon level. I\u2019d like to just flatten this into the $5 tier to simplify things a bit. This mostly just involves updating some pages to reflect this.<\/p>\n I’ll also be removing the stream game voting perk for now. The people who watch the stream don\u2019t seem to be subscribed to the Patreon. It doesn\u2019t make a lot of sense to offer this if those who are eligible to vote likely won\u2019t watch the stream. I’ll re-consider as the patreon grows.Car Talk is probably dead for now, since I no longer commute to work. So I\u2019ll need to find something to replace this.<\/p>\n I also want to create a short YouTube video promoting the Patreon once I\u2019ve finished the above Patreon changes.<\/p>\n Casual Reviews<\/strong><\/p>\n Pokemon Channel is definitely happening ASAP. It’s a cool game and I think I have a decent amount to say. Other casual reviews may crop up as I play some games in my free time<\/p>\n Catch Up On the Community Review Archive<\/strong> In the future, I\u2019d like to launch this sooner to when we finish the game on stream. No hard plans on exactly how to do this yet.<\/p>\n Test Streams<\/strong><\/p>\n Unfortunately I didn’t quite finish my test streams needed. One I need to do is for a PC capture test stream. I need to do this before our upcoming University Doujin game stream.<\/p>\n An additional stream needs to be tested in the secondary set up to verify the issues I had were ironed. Microphone in this set up still may be unsalvageable, but I want to try at least one more time. Once this is done, this may help with other types of content.<\/p>\n Nintendoji Video<\/strong><\/p>\n This needs to get done. Once the immediate projects are finished, this is 100% my focus until it\u2019s done.<\/p>\n A PC-FX Video (undecided on how many)<\/strong><\/p>\n A few options here:<\/p>\n A video about burning PC-FX games. Think there’s some value in this and probably fairly low hanging fruit.<\/p>\n Finally finishing the English Guide Video for Sparkling Feather. This has been on the back burner for….awhile lol.<\/p>\n Doing another easy English Guide video (Probably Ruru Ri Rarura)<\/p>\n Chibi-Robo Follow Up Video<\/strong><\/p>\n This script is basically done, and I may try to put it together pretty quickly after the Nintenodji video to push traffic back to it. I don\u2019t think it will be hard, but I\u2019ve said that before.<\/p>\n Shenmue Multi-Tap Podcast<\/strong><\/p>\n I\u2019ll probably need to start coordinating this soon. These have been fairly low effort recently though. May test video call capabilities with this one.<\/p>\n Some of these may bleed over into the short term plan segment…<\/p>\n General Collection Videos<\/strong><\/p>\n I did a poll a long time ago and this seems like it\u2019d be pretty easy content to do. Could be either short or long-form. Maybe both.<\/p>\n There was also a GameCube games video I scripted out for the 20th anniversary last year that was nearly done script wise, but unfortunately didn\u2019t get finished. I may revisit this as well\u2026 or maybe just abandon it.<\/p>\n Revisit Dirge of Cerberus Multi-Player Video Idea<\/strong><\/p>\n DoC Multiplayer is cool and I think there\u2019s a great video here.<\/p>\n Think about Final Fantasy XI Content<\/strong><\/p>\n I want to do something with this and it may fit pretty well with the DoC Multiplayer video.There\u2019s a few directions I can take here:<\/p>\n Finally revisit the Lost Underwear of FFXI Idea (Click bait-y title, but it\u2019s actually kind of super interesting from a FFXI player\u2019s perspective at least.). This does require learning how to hack the game tough.<\/p>\n General FFXI Appreciation Discussion or Video \u2013 I\u2019d love to do this but FFXI is a big game and doing this right would probably be very hard.<\/p>\n Return to cut content \u2013 There\u2019s been a lot of undocumented updates here. I could do some good looking over this stuff. Might be a good set of videos to put out alongside the DoC video or other FFXI content<\/p>\n Maybe a Buddy Mission BOND Video if I Can Justify It<\/strong><\/p>\n SO FOR NOW, that\u2019s that. I\u2019m sure this will change as time goes on and my ever shifting interests will drag me new directions.
